Interfaith projects
The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team work together on interfaith projects throughout the year.
Groups and organisations
Guildford and Godalming Inter-Faith Forum is an informal group in the local community to promote understanding and friendship among people of all faiths and none, and regularly host seminars.
Inter Faith Friends in Surrey is an informal friendship group which has been in existence for more than 30 years in Guildford, Waverley and Woking. They also serve as a reference point for links to resource bodies and faith communities.
Surrey Faith Links seeks to build good relationships between faith organisations and other sectors, particularly local authorities, public services and voluntary and community groups, so that together they may better serve the people and places of Surrey.
The BBC Religions website is a portal to an A to Z of religions, image galleries, religious programmes on TV and Radio and the BBC Multifaith Calendar, which is a resource to find holy days and festivals by religion, date or year.
Equality, honesty, justice and fairness are values that all faiths share, therefore common ground can be found in the principle of fair trade. The Chaplaincy agrees with the work of the Fairtrade Foundation and participates in Fairtrade Fortnight and is part of the University steering group to maintain the University of Surrey Fairtrade status.
