Many of our facilities and services operate with reduced or altered opening times during semester breaks (such as Christmas and Easter), on bank holidays and during University closure periods.
The spring vacation is from 30 March - 19 April 2026.
Wellbeing and support
Centre for Wellbeing

If you are in need of urgent wellbeing support, please contact Campus Safety, visit our wellbeing pages for advice or contact one of the following services:
- Mental Health Crisis Line - NHS helpline and available 24/7.
- Health Assured - a 24/7 helpline and app to support you through any of life's issues or problems.
- Samaritans - a free, confidential listening service. Available 24/7.
- Papyrus HOPELINEUK - a specialist telephone, email and text service giving support, practical advice and information to young people who are feeling unable to cope with life.
- Safe Haven - a Guildford-based mental health drop-in centre for people in crisis. Available 6pm - 11pm daily.

Our Estates Help Desk phone line 01483 689230 transfers to Campus Safety over this period, who contact our on-call teams as required.
Food and drink
Co-op and Pitchside will be open on Monday 4 May and Monday 25 May. All other catering venues will be closed.
Study spaces
Library
The Library will continue to be open 24 hours a day across the May bank holidays (Monday 4 May and Monday 24 May)
The Library Security Team will be working, but other Library staff are not available - services are self service only.
