Seasonal service opening times
Many of our facilities and services operate with reduced or altered opening times during semester breaks (such as Christmas and Easter), on Bank Holidays and during University closure periods. All the latest times for upcoming periods are listed below.

The Easter break/Spring vacation is Monday 14 April - Friday 2 May 2025.
The University will be closed between Thursday 17 April –Wednesday 23 April 2025 (inclusive).

Centre for Wellbeing

- Mental Health Crisis Line - NHS helpline and available 24/7.
- Health Assured - a 24/7 helpline and app to support you through any of life's issues or problems.
- Shout - a free text service for anyone in crisis and available 24/7. Text ‘Shout’ to 85258.
- Samaritans - a free, confidential listening service. Available 24/7.
- Papyrus HOPELINEUK - a specialist telephone, email and text service giving support, practical advice and information to young people who are feeling unable to cope with life.
- Safe Haven - a Guildford-based mental health drop-in centre for people in crisis. Available 6pm - 11pm daily.

Library
The Library will remain open 24 hours a day throughout the vacation period, though Library staff will be unavailable in-person from 6pm 6pm on Wednesday 16 April until 8am on Wednesday 24 April.
You can still contact the team by emailing library@surrey.ac.uk on Thursday 17 April, Tuesday 22 April and Wednesday 23 April.
