Future Leaders: empowering underrepresented students to thrive
At the University of Surrey, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to lead, succeed, and feel a true sense of belonging. That’s why we created Future Leaders—a transformative, extracurricular programme designed to support the success of students from underrepresented backgrounds throughout their university journey.
Co-created with your Students' Union, Future Leaders is more than just a programme - it’s a pathway to empowerment.
Future Leaders is an extracurricular programme designed to run alongside your degree, offering opportunities for personal growth and development to enrich your university experience. You can take part in the programme in a variety of ways – from completing digital learning modules on SurreyLearn to joining interactive workshops and in-person events.
Future Leaders is open to eligible undergraduate WP students (see eligibility criteria below). Participants gain access to personalised support and enriching opportunities that foster confidence, build community, and develop essential skills for both academic and career success.
