Living in University accommodation is an important part of your life at Surrey. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, expand your horizons and create unforgettable memories.

The accommodation support team are here to help you and offer advice on all residential matters.

Key dates

Applying:

  • Applications opened for new and returning undergraduate and postgraduate students: 6 February 2024
  • Deadline for returning undergraduate and postgraduate students: 1 March 2024
  • Outcome of application for returning students: w/c 11 March 2024
  • Monthly application updates for unsuccessful returning student applications: 8 April, 6 May, 10 June, 22 July

Moving in and out:

  • Undergraduate students move-out date: 10 June 2024
  • Postgraduate September students move-out date: 31 August 2024
  • New Postgraduate February 2024 intake arrival date: 03 February 2024
  • New Postgraduate February 2024 intake move-out date: 25 January 2025
