Key contacts for new students

The University has a whole host of services to support you before and after you start your course. Please don’t be afraid to get in touch if you need help or have any questions.

Before you contact us

Before you contact us: please pre-register and access and protect your IT account first. This will help us to ensure that you get the right support as efficiently as possible.

You may need to wait up to 48 hours after you have completed these tasks before you can contact us.

Dedicated contacts for specific services

Here you can find the contact details for some of our dedicated services. If you want to contact us about anything outside of these services, please explore MySurrey website to search for advice and contact details.

Admissions

If you have any questions about your application for Surrey or the Clearing process then contact our friendly Admissions team.

Centre for Wellbeing

Speak to the Centre for Wellbeing for any personal, emotional or psychological issues that you may have. If you are currently receiving support elsewhere we recommend getting in touch before you arrive so that we can arrange the best support for you at Surrey.

IT Services

Explore the IT pages if you need support with accessing your IT account, any of the Office365 software or connecting to wifi on campus.

If needed, visit the Library for on-campus IT support from a member of the team (during Welcome Week 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday. During semester 10am to 2pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).

Chat to our IT team.

Library

The Library is the home of Library and Learning Services, bringing together the spaces, expertise, and materials that support the University community in their learning, teaching, and research journeys.

Find out about the Library facilities and services. Once you have set up your IT account, you can access the Library online and get academic skills support.

Report + Support

Abuse, bullying, harassment, hate crime and sexual misconduct are never ok.

All staff, students and visitors to campus can report something anonymously or with their contact details on Report + Support.

Our Campus Safety team is here for you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This includes all weekends, bank holidays and during university closures.
