Online registration
Online registration is an important first step that all our new students need to take. The process is slightly different for UK and Irish students compared to non-UK and Irish students, so please take some time to read all the guidance below.
What is online registration?
Online registration:
- Allows you to confirm your personal and academic information.
- Provides you with the terms and conditions related to your studies.
- Gives you information about your course and fees.
- Enables you to share your details with our support services to help you through your studies.
- Creates your IT account for login to University services (complete all fields, then accept terms and conditions).
- Allows the University to collect all the necessary data for our statutory return
- [Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students only] Allows you to complete your student success questionnaire, which will help you assess your strengths, reflect on things you might want to improve or achieve at university, and see how you progress throughout your time at Surrey.
How to complete online registration
You will receive an email letting you know that online registration is open after you have accepted your place at University and hold an unconditional offer. Do not try to complete it before you receive this email as you may find that you cannot access the system.
