Come on down and hide away with us in The Hideout; we're here when you need a break or a place to study fuelled by Chimney Fire speciality coffee.
Opening hours
The Hideout is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3pm.
Many of our facilities and services operate with reduced or altered opening times during semester breaks (such as Christmas and Easter), on Bank Holidays and during University closure periods.

What we offer
We serve quality artisan coffee sourced from Chimney Fire who are pioneers in roasting and ethical sourcing. Our team of baristas will make you a fantastic coffee whether yours is an oat milk decaf latte or a black americano. A fantastic variety of baked pastries and cakes available throughout the day. A wide selection of quality sandwiches, wraps, paninis, salads, and light snacks.
Hideout is a wonderful place to sit down, chill out and unwind, with friends or colleagues. We are a 2023 “Best Café” nominee in the England’s Business Awards 2023.
