Summer opportunities

There are four types of summer opportunities abroad offered or supported by the University of Surrey:

  • Study programmes at universities
  • Volunteering with Surrey partners
  • Internships with Surrey partners
  • Self-sourced volunteering/internships.

Summer opportunities normally last between one to eight weeks and are a way to experience studying, volunteering or working abroad with students from all over the world. Summer opportunities are not credit bearing and are for experience only.

Listen to our podcast on summer programmes to get more of an insight.

Note: Final year undergraduate students are eligible to apply for a summer opportunity but ensure the dates of the summer opportunity do not clash with your graduation date.
