Seasonal service opening times
Many of our facilities and services operate with reduced or altered opening times during semester breaks (such as Christmas and Easter), on bank holidays and during University closure periods.
Wellbeing and support
Centre for Wellbeing
Open as usual.
If you are in need of urgent wellbeing support, please contact Campus Safety, visit our wellbeing pages for advice or contact one of the following services:
- Mental Health Crisis Line - NHS helpline and available 24/7.
- Health Assured - a 24/7 helpline and app to support you through any of life's issues or problems.
- Samaritans - a free, confidential listening service. Available 24/7.
- Papyrus HOPELINEUK - a specialist telephone, email and text service giving support, practical advice and information to young people who are feeling unable to cope with life.
- Safe Haven - a Guildford-based mental health drop-in centre for people in crisis. Available 6pm - 11pm daily.
MySurrey Hive (Stag Hill and Manor Park) and our student support services
Spaces remain open for studying and socialising as normal, except for the below when the front desk, phone and live chat will be unavailable across both MySurrey Hives:
- Wednesday 8 July, all day
- Thursday 23 July, 11:30- 2:30pm
- Tuesday 28 July, all day.

Our Estates Help Desk phone line 01483 689230 transfers to Campus Safety over this period, who contact our on-call teams as required.

The Library will be open 8am to midnight from 8 June to 27 September. 24-hour opening will resume from 28 September.
Please note: due to essential maintenance, the Library will be closed between 6pm, Sunday 14 June, and 9am, Tuesday 16 June 2026. Please use alternative study spaces during this time.
