MySurrey Engagement
We’re giving you access to your personalised data through MySurrey Engagement - a digital platform that will help you to reflect, progress and succeed.
What is MySurrey Engagement?
- A web-based app that gives you information about how much you’re engaging with your learning and enables you to reflect on what you could do to improve.
- You will use it at least once a week, if not more, to see how engaged you are and how that changes over time
- Your Personal Tutor / Student Success Coach will also use to see how you are doing, and it will be used in catch-ups with them to guide your conversation
Who should use MySurrey Engagement?
MySurrey Engagement is available for all foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, and you will be able to login using your usual University username and password.
It is not available for postgraduate research students or those who are at Surrey on an exchange programme.
What can I do with MySurrey Engagement?
MySurrey Engagement is personalised to you. You can use it to:
- Self-reflect on your learning engagement and see what’s going well, as well as areas to improve.
- Make informed decisions to boost your chances of success.
- Track your engagement rating over time with graphs showing activity across digital resources like SurreyLearn, digital textbooks and Panopto.
- Access your published assignment marks through SurreyLearn.
- Have more insightful conversations with your Personal Tutor/Student Success Coach, who can guide you or connect you with further support.
- Optionally (and anonymously) comparisons against others in your cohort to see how you compare.
How to set up MySurrey Engagement
MySurrey Engagement is very easy to set up and access - it only takes a few minutes, and you only need to do it once.
New students: complete your registration first
If you have just started at Surrey, then you must complete online registration (all students) and register in-person (non-UK and Irish students) before you can access MySurrey Engagement. If you have not yet done these please do so as soon as possible.
Open MySurrey Engagement and log in
You will use the same username (e.g. ab0012@surrey.ac.uk) and password as the one you use for your email, timetable and other University online services.
Log in before you attend a session to save time. Visit our IT account webpage if you need support.
