Thursday market
Every Thursday during term time, the Students’ Union building is transformed with the arrival of Thursday Market.
You can also expect plenty of surprises with seasonal theme weeks, such as Black History Month, and a Christmas Market; plus visits from some of our promotional partners such as Deliveroo and guest stalls selling everything from houseplants to vintage clothing!
Opening hours
- Hot food stalls: 11am – 4pm, although it often runs until 6pm.
Location
The Market is set up in Rubix (Students' Union) as well as on the patio outside of Rubix and The Front Room.

Lower patio (outside The Front Room):
- Crepes Station - sweet or savoury crepes from a family-run business
- Foy African Cuisine – traditional ‘yard’ food from the streets of Africa
- Momo’s Fusion – Asian street food, katsu burgers and noodles
- Pizza Portfolio - authentic sourdough pizza inspired by streets of Naples
- Planet Souvlaki - Greek wraps stalls serving gyros and Greek street food
- Spanish Paella – real authentic Spanish paella
