"I have worked at the University for 13 years and I love it - no two days are the same and it is very rewarding knowing that I am helping students through their university experience.

In my spare time, I raise money for various children's charities via the 501st Legion."

"Before being at Surrey, I was a Police Constable for 10 years, and I have also been a coach of several sports, including squash, pistol shooting, trampolining, weightlifting and archery.

When I am not on duty, I enjoy travelling around Europe in my motorhome, managing my own brewery, and looking after my allotment."

"I had my formative years living and schooling in Singapore - the multicultural capital of the world. I have travelled to most continents.

I have a vested interest in research, being a participant in two Royal Marsden clinical trials. You are here to make the world a better place and we are here to support you."

"I really enjoy interacting with students and staff, and my colleagues are all fantastic! The Campus Safety team have a vast amount of knowledge and experience with most Campus Safety team members being ex-Police Officers, Prison Officers, Military personnel, or Firemen/Firewomen.

I am very keen on keeping myself fit; I enjoy running, Mixed Martial Arts and going to the gym. I also enjoy reading and watching football - I support Tottenham Hotspur (please don’t hold that against me). I am always walking around the campus so come and say hello!"

"I am a Campus Safety Team Leader, a position I have held for almost three years. I have worked at the University for seven years, previous roles being a Deputy Team Leader and a Security Officer.

I enjoy working within the hustle and bustle of University life, particularly night shifts where things can dramatically liven up! I’m a keen bike rider having just signed up again to the London to Brighton and enjoy Canicrossing with my two Golden Retrievers."

"I have worked in Security Services for eight years and enjoy in-depth CCTV work and evidence gathering so that those who have worked hard to study here can do so safely. I hold a degree in Law from the University of Durham and a masters from the University of Nottingham."

"I am the Team Leader for Team Delta in the Campus Safety team and I enjoy engaging and supporting students and staff. Prior to this role, I worked in MySurrey Hive which provided me with an excellent insight into the full student experience, and I was the Deputy Team Leader in Security for over five years.

Prior to coming to the University, I worked for 14 years as a front-line Police Officer and seven of these were as a Police Dog handler. In my spare time, I take part in Canicross running with my dog!"

"I have a keen interest in supporting students with drug and mental health concerns. I like to engage with students and find a common interest so I can build a rapport. I like working the night shifts the most as the University is completely different and unique. I am a football lover and support Manchester United (please don’t judge me)."
