Surrey Self-Service

Surrey Self-Service is one of the most important online tools that you will use throughout your studies.  

There are many things that you would use Surrey Self-Service for as a student including: 

  • Track your application to the University 

  • Complete your online registration before you start your programme. 

  • Complete your online re-registration ahead of the start of each academic year. 

  • Provide the University with your most up-to-date contact details, including home and term-time address, phone number and email address. 

  • View your latest assessment results 

  • Apply for extenuating circumstances 

  • Request various official letters, alongside those that are available on Surrey Support. 

Please make sure you are using your University username only to sign in. For example, ab12345 not ab12345@surrey.ac.uk. The password is the same as the one used for your email, timetable, SurreyLearn and other systems.

Self-Service maintenance and downtime

We perform regular upgrades to Surrey Self-Service, which involves downtime when it will be unavailable for a short period.

We always communicate these downtime periods in advance where possible.

Please ensure you plan ahead when wanting to use Surrey Self-Service with upcoming maintenance periods in mind.
