Tuition fee payments

UK and international students are now required to log into their Surrey Self-Service account and will be directed to make tuition fee payments through Flywire (this isn't required for undergraduates with a student loan). Those studying a Pre-sessional English course have a separate payment method.

Accommodation fees

If you are paying your accommodation fees using a UK debit or credit card you will need your student ID number and invoice number to log into our online card payment gateway.

Postgraduate loans

If you have been accepted for the postgraduate masters loan or doctoral loan, and are having difficulties in paying your fees before your first instalment is due, please contact our Student Receivables team at student-receivables@surrey.ac.uk, once you are in receipt of a tuition fee invoice.

Please be aware...

For security and safety purposes we do not accept in-person or telephone payments. Payments need to be made online or by bank transfer via Flywire, the University will not give out the University bank details.

Your login details should not be shared with any third party. Our payment partners will never ask you to share login details.

Tuition fee terms and conditions

Once registered, students paying fees by instalment are expected to settle their accounts promptly as indicated on their email invoices.

In the event of a student failing for any reason to complete a programme of study the University is not under any obligation to return any part of the fees paid by the student, or on behalf of the student.

Privacy and data protection

At the University of Surrey we recognise that your personal privacy is a serious and important issue and we support the principle of protecting privacy on the internet within the context of current UK legislation.

If you are unsure whether the payment has been charged to your credit/debit card, you should contact your card issuer whose telephone number is usually stated on the back of your card.
