Sustainable Surrey has partnered with Climate Jams and over 10 other universities in and around London to facilitate a one-day Food Waste Hackathon on Thursday 12 June at the University of London - and you’re invited!

This exciting event brings students together to take on one of the world’s biggest environmental challenges: food waste. From farms to fridges, over a third of food is lost and we need innovative, interdisciplinary solutions.

What’s a Hackathon?
A high-energy, creative event where you’ll work in a team to develop and pitch solutions to a real-world challenge. The challenge will be set by the awesome folks at Gather and Gather, who will also be providing food on the day and providing expert feedback to the students.

  • Collaborate with students from across London
  • Build problem-solving and innovation skills
  • Gain a certificate, LinkedIn endorsement, and experience.
