Important changes to tuition fees from 2025/26
The UK Government has announced an increase of 3.1% to the tuition fee cap, in line with inflation.

This means that from September 2025 UK (home) undergraduate student tuition fees will be adjusted, in line with universities across the England, as follows:
- Full-time student fees will rise by £285 a year to £9,535
- Part-time student fees will rise by £210 a year to £7,145
- Professional training year fees will rise by £50 to £1900
- Students studying abroad for 30 weeks or more are expected to be charged up to 15% of the maximum standard full-time tuition fee. Exact figures will be confirmed in due course.
- Students abroad for 30 weeks or more who are in receipt of a Turing grant are expected to be charged up to 15% of the maximum standard full-time tuition fee. Exact figures will be confirmed in due course.
- Full-time accelerated course fees will rise to £11,440
This change affects:
- Current undergraduate students (including suspended and repeating students)
The tuition fee increase will not impact:
- Postgraduate students
- International students
