From Monday 14 September, we will be putting in new measures to ensure that cars are only parked in designated parking areas, helping us to maintain an accessible campus for everyone.
When you first arrive on campus, you will have 1 hour to enter a car park. A 20-minute consideration period will follow, allowing you to stay or move on without incurring any parking charges.
These changes will be enforced by ANPR cameras, and therefore Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) will be issued where guidance is not followed, including in bus stops and on yellow lines.
From January 2027, we will also be making the Spine Road on Stag Hill pedestrianised at specific times of day, with limited motor/electric vehicle access for operational and emergency reasons. Cyclists will still be able to use the road as normal. We will be kicking off works to put this into place during Semester 1, and you can see preview images of the road below.
