Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
Your device is connected to eduroam but there is no internet connection | If your device has been connected to another network, sometimes your machine gets set with a static IP address (static DNS). This means that your device will 'connect' to eduroam but there won't be any internet access. The DNS needs to be removed and set to automatic. This is not something unique to the university and there is a lot of information about it on the internet. Please contact the IT team on 01483 689898 if you need support with this issue. |
Your device is not connecting to eduroam | Your device is automatically remembering and using an incorrect password. Delete and replace that password with the correct one and try again. |
Your device is not connecting to eduroam | You havenât waited 24 hours since activating your IT account. Try again after 24 hours. |
