From Undergrad to Postgraduate Networking Event

At this event we will tell you about all the postgraduate opportunities you can explore right here at Surrey, both by networking with our current PGT students and through 1-2-1 appointments with academics to talk through your study options.

During the event, you will be able to: 

• Meet our subject academics to discuss course content and outcomes
• Speak with current postgraduate students to find out more about their experiences
• Find out the incentives and discounts you could receive as a student if you stay at Surrey
• Attend a welcome talk and learn more about the admissions process
• Enjoy high quality complimentary food and drink at the Lakeside Restaurant on campus

Our academics will provide you with valuable insights about course content, modules, teaching and learning so you can better understand what a masters has to offer first-hand. We are including bookable 20-minute time slots with an academic of your subject choice.

Programme

• 4:30pm - Registration opens
• 5 - 5:30pm - Welcome talk: Find out the benefits of staying at Surrey for your postgraduate degree. Hosted by Professor Amelia Hadfield.
• 5:30 - 6:45pm - Academic sessions by appointment
• 5:30 - 6:45pm - Network with our current postgraduate students: Chat with postgraduate students before and after your academic 1-1s. Food will be served for you to enjoy whilst you network.
• 6:45pm - End of event.
