Each year, students registered for an award are required to register formally with the University. This applies to all students. This process ensures that you are entitled to access University facilities, attend lectures, laboratories and other academic related sessions, and are liable for payment of fees (where appropriate).

Once your registration has been completed, the University is able to confirm your attendance (where appropriate) to the Student Finance England (SFE), to the Home Office (International students) and to the Office for Students (all students).

This reporting is a statutory requirement – we have to do it. For students who have SFE funding, registration is also required before funding can be released. Please ensure you register promptly in order to prevent delays to maintenance loans.

Re-registering ensures that you are entitled to access University facilities, attend academic related sessions and that you receive any approved SFE funding KA-01858 100 My course Returners re-registering Published
