The University of Surrey has been named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience 2027’ by the Daily Mail University Guide - celebrating the community, support, facilities and opportunities that help make student life at Surrey special.

We’re delighted to share that the University of Surrey has been named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience 2027’ by the Daily Mail University Guide.
The award celebrates the incredible student community at Surrey and recognises the University's commitment to providing an outstanding experience.
In announcing the award, the Daily Mail University Guide Editor Alastair McCall praised Surrey's welcoming campus community, excellent facilities, strong student support and commitment to helping students develop the academic, professional and life skills needed for the future.
He described Surrey as offering as "A first-class student experience – in our opinion the best currently on offer in the UK."
The work we've done to win the praise of the Daily Mail University Guide judges also contributed to the feedback we rate most highly of all - from our students in the National Student Survey. Leading to us to achieving a score of 87.7 per cent in this year's survey – placing Surrey 7th* in the sector, ahead of every Russell Group university.
