The Sustainable Futures Award (SFA) is a free co-curricular course on global sustainability and the challenges affecting our planet along with the solutions being devised to solve them. The SFA module focuses on the three aspects of sustainability – environmental, economic and social issues.
The course is provided free of charge by the University to undergraduate and postgraduate students based on campus in Guildford.
The module appears on your HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report), alongside your degree modules. If you successfully complete the module, you get 15 extra credits, on top of your degree (for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on a taught programme) or a certificate (for Postgraduate Research students).
