That belief fuels our Future Leaders programme - an empowering, extracurricular initiative built in partnership with the Students’ Union, crafted to uplift and support students from underrepresented backgrounds across their entire university journey.
You can take part in the programme in a variety of ways – from completing digital learning modules on SurreyLearn to joining interactive workshops and in-person events.
Future Leaders equips you with vital academic, personal, and professional resources to flourish confidently, build communities, and embrace leadership. Participants will benefit from tailored support, peer networks, and meaningful recognition that help you excel both during your studies and beyond.

Future Leaders is open to undergraduate students from widening participation backgrounds. You may be eligible if you are a mature learner, have caring responsibilities or your parent/carer has served in the UK Armed Forces. View eligibility criteria.
