Flooring repairs at Bright Horizons Day Nursery and Preschool
Please be advised that flooring repair work throughout Bright Horizons Day Nursery and Preschool will commence on Monday 10 November 2025, running for a 5-week period.

There will be minimal impact to the classrooms during the working week as bathroom and classroom flooring will mostly be completed across the weekends to minimise disruption to the children.
During week commencing Monday 10 November, the contractors will be working on the left hand side of the nursery building with flooring in the staff room, staff toilet, storage cupboards, milk kitchen and laundry area. During week commencing Monday 17 November, the contractors will pause that work to focus on the kitchen flooring. During this time the children will still have a hot cooked meal with pudding for lunch. This will be prepared at our Guildford Boxgrove nursery and transported over. The tea menu will be slightly modified to accommodate the limited facilities.
A full set of risk assessments will be conducted by the nursery and the contractors. The contractors involved are approved by the University and hold DBS certificates.
