If you are under 25 and in higher education for the first time, it is recommended that you are vaccinated against Menigitis B (MenB) and Meningitis ACWY.
The Meningitis B vaccination requires two doses to be given four weeks apart. This drop in session is for the first vaccination only, but you will be able to arrange your follow up dose.
Eligibility
This vaccination is available for UK and international students who meet the following criteria:
- Born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 and in Year 13 for the 2025/26 academic year
- Under 25 and attending university for the first time in autumn 2026
You are not eligible under the NHS scheme if you have already completed a full course of the MenB vaccine within the last 5 years. You do not need an NHS number or GP registration to get vaccinated. If you are aged 19–25, you must bring proof of your university/accommodation offer (e.g., UCAS or college letter).
