At Surrey, we do Welcome Week a bit differently. We call it "The Big Welcome" - and honestly, it's one our favourite weeks of the year.

  • Chilled day time events and big nights out
  • Coffee dates that turn into lifelong friendships
  • Exploring our campus
  • Getting prepped for your programme
  • Knowing where to go for help when you need us.

Get ready for:

  • A huge mix of events - from crafty sessions, club nights and our infamous outdoor lake bar (yes, we'll face the unpredictable British weather together)
  • Welcome and induction events with your faculty and school to get you ready for the start of teaching
  • A massive marquee filled with clubs, societies, brands and more at Freshers' Fair
  • A whole weekend of free sport and activities at Surrey Sports Park for Active Freshers' Fair.

So lock the dates in now - we will be launching our personalised Welcome Week timetable for all new students at the end of August.
