Each year, Remembrance Day is an opportunity to acknowledge and honour the service and sacrifice of fallen members of the armed forces.

Staff and students are invited to mark this occasion in-person on the Austin Pearce Piazza between 10.45am and 11.05am on Tuesday 11 November 2025.
Operations across campus will be suspended during this time.
Professor Stephen Jarvis, President and Vice-Chancellor of our University, Matt Aikin, President of the Students’ Union, and Lilli Jones, Principal Chaplain and Religious Life and Belief Lead will deliver the service. This will be followed by a two-minute silence at 11am.
