The Change 100 programme offers paid work opportunities, professional development and mentoring. It’s designed to support the career development of people like you, talented university students and recent graduates with any disability, long-term illness and mental health conditions.
We’ve partnered with organisations who believe disability isn’t a barrier to a brilliant career and appreciate the value that talented disabled students can bring to their organisations.
Over the last 11 years Change 100 has placed talented individuals in roles at UNICEF, Elsevier, NHS Employers, Involve, and BBC Studios. Corporate employers, public and third sector organisations across different industries take part.
The team support you with your applications, adjustments and match you to registered companies to the scheme. These are open to second, third-year students and graduates.
Mentoring and development:
- As well as valuable, paid, experience with an employer Change 100 can offer you:
- An inclusive recruitment process – designed to let you shine
- A professional development programme with skills workshops, employer sessions and a peer group of fellow Change 100 interns
- A dedicated mentor at your host organisation
- Opportunities to expand your network
- Confidence in sharing your disability with support in identifying and requesting disability-related adjustments
- This is a paid work experience opportunity. While we will make every effort to consider your University subject or interests, our primary focus is on providing a valuable and engaging experience, regardless of your experience.
- Therefore we ask you to please be open-minded about potential internships and consider the transferable skills to be gained.
- We work with a wide range of excellent employers, all of whom offer high-quality internships. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee or commit to specific roles, sectors or employers, nor are we able to accommodate individual requests.
