Join us from Monday 9 - Friday 13 June for a programme of in-person and online events designed to support you through the dissertation process.

These sessions will deliver useful guidance and strategies for carrying out your dissertation, as well as providing you with the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other postgraduate students.

Sessions will cover areas such as demystifying statistics, writing the literature review, managing pressure, dissertation writing tips, critically analysing journal articles, planning and progressing your dissertation.

Friday's sessions include:

  • Writing your discussion - 10 - 10:50am, online
  • Student perspectives of undertaking a Masters - 11am - 12pm, online
  • Planning and progressing your dissertation - 2 - 2:30pm, online and in person

There is no need to book, just pick and choose the sessions that best suit you. MS Teams links to online sessions will be available on the event page the day before.

You can view the full programme and information about all sessions on SurreyLearn.

In case you’re not able to make a session, resources and slides from each event will be shared on our module for you to use in your own time.
