For most claims, there is no excess. However, you will need to pay the first £50 of any valid claim for:
Cancellations to travel arrangements not made through the University Travel Management Company
Any electrical item of personal property including (but not limited to) mobile phones, laptops, fitness bands, gaming equipment, cameras, video cameras and e-readers
Any claims where your trip is longer than one year
