You do not have to attend your ceremony if you don't want to. If you do not wish to attend and have not received your degree certificate, please contact the Exams, Graduation and Awards team to request your certificate. You can either arrange to collect it from Senate House reception or we can post it to you. If you want it to be posted to you, please provide details of your postal address. Sending by courier is also an option but you would need to contact us to arrange this and then pay for this via our online store. You can also request that your certificate is collected by someone on your behalf, but please state who that person will be and when they will collect it. In all cases, please ensure you provide your student number, full name and degree programme in your email.
If you would like to attend a graduation ceremony at another time, you can defer your attendance to the following year by contacting the Ceremonies team.
If you had booked and paid for robe hire but no longer need this, you can contact our robemakers about a refund. If a ticket or wristband you have booked is no longer needed, you should log back into the Ede and Ravenscroft website and cancel your tickets. As tickets will be free of charge we anticipate demand might be higher so we would ask that if tickets are no longer needed, they are cancelled at the earliest opportunity so they can be released to others who are waiting for additional tickets or who missed the deadline to book.
If you cancel your tickets less than 10 days before the ceremony, please also email the Ceremonies team to let them know.
