Please only use white tack to affix your decorations, so that you don’t remove paintwork or leave holes in walls. Please do not use adhesives that will damage or stain the walls or furniture after you leave. You will be charged for any works required to restore these to their original state.  Please do not decorate your hallways or entrances, as they are your means of escape in the case of fire and anything that is flammable could compromise both you and your housemates safe exit from the building. Please don’t hang decorations from your lights or smoke/heat detectors as they are a fire risk and could compromise the effectiveness of your smoke/heat detector. Fairy lights, unless LED battery operated, are unfortunately also fire risk and should be avoided.
