If you need ergonomic furniture, specific equipment, or an adjustment to your room due to a disability or medical condition, you should complete our Register and Request Support form, if you have not already done so, and then submit an Additional Request, selecting Accommodation as the adjustment type, as early as possible.

Your request will be reviewed by a Disability Adviser, and you will need to provide supporting evidence that explains why the item or adjustment is needed.
There are a range of options that may be considered depending on your needs, such as a mini fridge for medication, an orthopaedic mattress, ergonomic furniture, or other room-based equipment.
If your request is supported, the Accommodation team will arrange this where possible, in line with availability and their accommodation processes.
