dde4bd73-8743-ef11-a316-6045bdd2377d If you have just started university, there may be a delay receiving your maintenance loan payment because the university cannot confirm your enrolment with Student Finance England (SFE) until Welcome Week has started. It can take the university a few days to process all records with SFE due to the high volume of student enrolment at this time, and it can then take SFE a further few days to update students' applications.

If you are already enrolled as a student at Surrey and have completed student registration (or are on temporary withdrawal) and need help with a Student Finance application, please contact the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support, and select "Money and Finance" as your enquiry topic. If you want to talk to someone face-to-face, you can book an appointment with our Student Money Advice team.

If you have not yet started your university course at Surrey please contact Student Finance England (SFE) directly to discuss your application and eligibility.

The Student Money Advice team will be able to investigate and provide further guidance regarding your funding application. We can also contact funding providers on your behalf to discuss your application, if you are an enrolled student and consent to share is set up with the provider.

If you are an enrolled, or currently withdrawn, student and need help with Student Finance application, please contact the Money Advice team KA-01614 1 Money and finance Loans and Student Finance Published
