These safety measures are important for reducing vehicle speeds, improving pedestrian safety and ensuring safer routes for buses and cyclists across both Stag Hill and Manor Park campuses.
Please note that advance signage will be installed across campus ahead of the bollards being activated to ensure everyone is aware of the upcoming changes.
Stag Hill Campus
Yorkies Bollard – Operating Times
The Yorkies bollard (situated at the back end of campus) will operate at specific times to support safe traffic flow during peak arrival and departure periods Monday - Friday.

Weekends: The bollard will be raised at 19:00 on Friday and will remain up until 07:30 on Monday.
Spine Road
Always up (intercom access available via Campus Safety and accessible to Estates vehicles).
Manor Park Bollard Locations
All bollards across Manor Park will remain raised, as the area is intended to operate as a car-free zone. This helps create a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists across the campus.
Those with an accessible permit will be contacted directly with approved routes and access arrangements put onto your campus card.

If you are a Blue Badge holder, please ensure you complete the MS Form. This will allow the Transport Team to provide the correct advice and access support for blue badge bays where required. Please note that we currently do not store Blue Badge data, so in order for you to gain access, we will need you to reach out via the MS Form.
