There are a total of eight awards available - four for students, and four for staff. These are:
Staff Sustainability Awards
- Staff Sustainability Hero – recognising a staff member whose actions have embraced sustainability in all forms, going above and beyond to make a sustainable impact over the last year.
- Sustainable Department of the year – recognising a department that has made significant strides in reducing its negative environmental impact over the last year.
- Sustainable Laboratory of the year – recognising a laboratory that has made significant strides in reducing its negative environmental impact over the last year.
- Best Sustainable Project – recognising a staff-led project that has made a positive, sustainable impact over the last year.
Student Sustainability Awards
- Student Sustainability Hero – recognising a student whose actions have embraced sustainability in all forms, going above and beyond to make a sustainable impact over the last year.
- Sustainable Society of the year – recognising a society that has made significant strides in reducing its negative environmental impact over the last year.
- Sustainable Club of the year – recognising a club that has made significant strides in reducing its negative environmental impact over the last year.
- Best Sustainable Project – recognising a student-led project that has made a positive, sustainable impact over the last year.
The deadline to submit nominations is fast approaching. Please use the online form to nominate by Friday 23 January 2026.
