As a valued member of the University of Surrey staff or student community, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend a special “In Conversation…” event with Dr Nicky Fox, Associate Administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate and proud Surrey alumna.
Dr Fox - one of the world's most influential leaders in science and exploration – will be in conversation with Dr Paul Bate, former CEO of the UK Space Agency who has joined the University as a Professor in Practice, at a special alumni event from 6pm on Wednesday 15 July.
Tickets are limited so please book quickly to avoid disappointment. Registrations will not be accepted after 12pm on Friday 3 July.
Dr Fox directs NASA’s portfolio of more than 100 science missions and has played a leading role in NASA’s ground-breaking Artemis programme - the ambitious mission to return humans to the Moon and pave the way for future journeys to Mars. This is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand from a Surrey alumna who is shaping the future of space exploration, as Nicky shares the science, the challenges, and the excitement behind this new era of discovery.

Tickets are available until Friday 3 July at 6pm after which any remaining tickets will be released to the alumni waiting list. There is a limited number of tickets available for Surrey staff and students, and demand is expected to be high. At this stage, we are unable to allows guests to attend from outside the university, therefore, tickets are limited to 1 per surrey staff/student.
If tickets remain available after 3 July, we will review the possibility of offering guest tickets.
If you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your ticket or notify us at events@surrey.ac.uk so your place can be offered to someone else.
