If you are a student with hearing loss and/or sight loss and require a specialist notetaker, you can access this through the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).

For all other notetaker requirements, these are provided by the University. We encourage students to explore assistive technology in the first instance which can be accessed through the DSA, though we acknowledge that this is not suitable for all students and courses. We recommend contacting the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support selecting "Disability and Neuroinclusion" as your enquiry topic. You can also attend one of our drop-in sessions to discuss your needs:

Stag Hill – Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays 2pm to 4pm at The Hive, Stag Hill
Manor Park – Tuesdays, Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm at The Hive, Manor Park
